Fab day out, lots of historic themes throughout.

点评：Lovely views, fabulous walk around the park and a cafe to relax in and grab a cuppa and or snack. Menu is simple, crisps, cans or bottles or juice, tea, variety of coffees, cakes, prewrapped goods.
The history park is great! Well thought out, great props within buildings which have been transported from areas near and far. Historic items and buildings spanning across many subjects like crofting life, farming, clothing and cloth, woodwork, postal services, trains, rationing, curling, shinty, the schoolhouse. An area is dedicated to post clearance housing (and life at the time) called a township. Really fires, thatched dwellings and so much more. A small gift shop is also there. Oh and a historic sweet shop too.
A small variety of animals, including chickens that like to gently peck your boots! Lovely experience.
When we visited, entrance fee was free but a donation appreciated. The sign told us that it cost the park approx £11.12 (? I think) per visitor as a guide.
A guide book can be purchased for £5.
There is a playback for children. This activity history park is great for all ages.
It may be a little difficult to move a wheelchair across many areas unless it's an all terrain specialist chair.
