Really excellent guide, really excellent tour in a beautiful park

点评：I really didn't know what to expect from Creswell Crags, but in the end, the visit far exceeded my expectations.
The gorge itself is beautiful, and well worth making the time to go for a walk around the gorge itself, but what made it was the “ice age” tour. The tour is well-organised, not too long, either in distance or duration, and absolutely worth the cost.
In the end, the fact is that the cave that is visited is interesting, but without a guide, would not be too exciting. what made it for me was the guide. She was enthusiastic, informative, engaging and genuinely funny. She provided loads of truly interesting detail about the environment of the caves during the ice age, and the lives of those who lived there during that time.
Yes, you can walk in the gorge, enjoy the scenery and look up at the cave entrances (the caves are only accessible as part of a tour), but what made it really special for us was the tour, and the tour guide. Well worth the cost and time commitment
