Hamptonne Country Life Museum的点评
点评：A bit late writing this review but, better late than never!
Being off-season, I was thrilled to find Hamptonne was open. I had a lovely few hours with an 8 year old who very much enjoyed the play area and seeing the inside of the buildings which had been set in different periods.
We took a gorgeous little walk through the orchard and then back again, the other side of the trees, seeing lots of chickens and just taking in the beautiful scenery.
The highlights had to be seeing the Jersey calves and piglets!
Had a lovely lunch in the cafe and there were some great selections in the small shop - catering from pocket money prices upwards. I was actually really impressed with the pricing.
The toilets in the newer building were immaculate! All staff we encountered were very friendly and chatty.
We spent a little longer there than planned, purely as it was a Sunday, in off-season, and we were at the mercy of the (very excellent!) buses and their timetables. From the bus stop it was a short walk of only a few minutes, and a great lesson in how to walk on roads without pavements, for the 8 year old!
