Overcrowded and overpriced, go at your peril. Recommend to visit 2 hr before close
格雷梅露天博物馆的点评
点评：We visited May 23 2025, 6:45-7:45PM.
It was great that we avoided the crowds (numerous large busses) as I cannot begin to imagine how bad it gets during the daytime with bus tours. If you decide to go, I would recommend 2 hours before closing time.
Many doors were locked, even though they had the audio guide numbers, meaning these churches or buildings should be open.
Apple church outside structure is in very poor condition - why??? Considering the number of foreigners paying 20 euro to enter?
And why must there be a separate fee of 6 euro for the very small (!) Dark Church?
When we bought the ticket we were not told that Tokali church, probably the most interesting and impressive of all complex, is actually offsite and is included in the ticket? By the time we realised that, we were only able to reach it 15 minutes before museum closing time of 8PM but the doors were already shut and no one around. What time was it locked and why??
Very disappointed after paying 26 euro for the ticket to see all of the above.
It is a site worth visiting but the price (like best European museums) and service (unacceptable) do not correlate.
Cannot even imagine how disappointed people are who visit during the day with thousands of tourists onsite.
