Perfect 55th anniversary get-away
Mount Magazine State Park的点评
点评：We knew from a previous trip that we wanted to visit Mt. Magazine for our anniversary week. We had stayed in a cabin before, so we decided to book a pet friendly room in the lodge. We arrived Thursday afternoon, and were greeted by a friendly and efficient staff. We weren’t sure how we’d manage with our dog, but we were relieved to find everyone welcoming to her and eager to accommodate us. We were seated outside at the restaurant for our meals and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was really good too. We had hiked the Signal Hill before , so we hiked the Benefield Loop and part of Will Apple’s this time. We identified wildflowers and trees, and saw rabbits and deer and roadrunners. We were given cautions and tips about the bears and had hoped to see one - from a distance - but didn’t. We commented several times about the beauty of the landscape, the practically perfect weather, and the quiet! When we checked out Saturday, we visited with the park ranger and promised that we’d leave a review. So we did. 😊
