But what happened next was an unexpected blessing. Denis offered to tell us more about the cathedral, and what followed was a beautiful and heartfelt journey through its history. As he guided my son and me through the cathedral, he shared fascinating stories about its architecture, significance, and the visits from both Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis in 2019.
