点评：It’s undeniably a place of immense historical and architectural value, with its lavish Rococo design and the famous Amber Room drawing crowds from all over the world. However, my overall experience was mixed, and I believe it’s important for future visitors to have realistic expectations.
First of all, the palace itself is absolutely stunning. The blue-and-white facade is striking, and the opulence of the interiors is breathtaking. The Amber Room, though a reconstruction, is incredibly detailed and lives up to its reputation. However, be prepared to shuffle through the rooms very slowly — there’s a constant flow of tour groups, and it feels more like a procession than a visit. You’re often hurried along, with little time to actually enjoy or read about what you’re seeing.
The organization and crowd control could use serious improvement. We waited in line for over an hour despite having pre-booked tickets. Once inside, it was hard to enjoy the palace due to the sheer number of people. Photography is restricted in some areas, and staff are quite strict — which is understandable, but the tone felt a bit unfriendly at times.
