History Colorado Center的点评
点评：I was so impressed with this historical museum. We gave ourselves 3.5 hours and that was not enough. The four floors were packed with a range of exhibits documenting the history of Colorado. A finely curated museum that is worthy of a visit for visitors or locals. To say that I was moved by the Sand Creek Massacre exhibit would be an understatement. I knew of this massacre and the ugly stain on the history of Denver but to give it its proper place in history is overdue. Most of us weren't taught the truth about the consequences of Manifest Destiny but the 4th floor does that in a pictorial way as well by testimony. The exhibits of famous and infamous Coloradans were fascinating and so very well done. The recreation of the Japanese internment camp was sad but interesting also. The volunteer/docent was quite well-read on the variety of subjects on display. I am so pleased that we chose to make this our one museum to see in Denver.
