History Colorado Center的点评
点评：We came to see the founding documents from the Freedom Plane. It was a brief but powerful display for the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and other important documents from the founding of our country.
The other displays were a disappointment. The 1-3 sentence historical summaries were broad generalizations, heavily biased, and at best told one perspective (exhibits: 38th Star and Moments that Made Us were especially disappointing). The Living West exhibit was the only one that offered an engaging exhibit.
Employees displayed their personal political opinions in buttons and stickers worn on their clothes. This doesn't communicate a message that everyone is welcome.
We read a lot and love history, but we didn't buy any books from the bookstore. Unfortunately, the titles were focused on a singular perspective and didn't offer an engaging variety of texts on the events covered.
Overall, disappointed.
