Peaceful place in a chaotic city
Side Museum的点评
点评：Nice and not so crowded museum. Went there during peak season in Side yet the museum had a nice and calm atmosphere. The exhibition in the main museum is on the smaller size but it is very nicely organised as many old statues are set up in a lovely outdoors garden with not too many people.
Personally I'd say that the value for the price is pretty good as for 10€ we got to see both the museum and the archaeological site where you basically walk through ruins of an ancient city.
The downside however was the fact that the staff couldn't really explain where to look for the archaeological site and also didn't speak English very well. Another slight inconvenience was the fact that they don't accept any foreign currency in cash but that wasn't too much of a problem as they do accept cards everywhere.
All in all our visit was very pleasant as me and my friend really love history and the museum offered just that along with much needed peace in the otherwise busy city of Side.
