Caves, cava and cannibals - awesome day out!

点评：Naihehe Caves is a wonderful adventure from start to finish.
The education from Sigatoka to the cave and jet boat head quarters was fantastic. The guides love their jobs and love interacting with the travellers - no bula sh*t! lol
Once arriving and you get across the river to the land cruiser safari bus, the magic starts to happen! Moses and Una are passionate and give you a real insight into the traditions, the villages, the cave and the view of the Sigatoka River is amazing.
Now this trip is definitely not for little ones, injured/elderly or very large people - I’m stating this to help you out if you’re thinking of booking. Pulling yourself up in the safari bus, hiking on uneven ground and bending in half while side shuffling through a small opening in the cave is hard work. If you’re not a fan of confined spaces, then choose another adventure. I also would recommend an old pair of runners to wear in the caves, the rocks are slippery and sharp when you’re wading through the water.
Now the experience itself is amazing. The ceremony by the priest of the caves to ask the spirits to look after us while in there is serious, people who don’t ask for their permission and care don’t always come out! We learn about the cannibals that lived in the caves, the pregnancy gap and see the amazing fully enclosed, no natural light at all cave. There is a great bbq lunch and cava ceremony afterwards. Gifts can be given to the priest to pass onto the villagers if desired. The kids in the villages will high five you as you travel through, they run up to the safari truck yelling out Bula! Be warned if you get a flat on the safari bus, you have to hope out and help change it! Do yourself a favour a enjoy this tour - you’re going to love it!

整个体验本身十分精彩。洞穴祭司会主持仪式，祈求神灵保佑我们平安出入洞穴；那些不请求神灵许可与庇佑的人可未必能顺利出来呢！我们还会了解到曾居住在洞穴中的食人族、怀孕间隔期的相关习俗，还能亲眼目睹那个完全封闭、没有任何自然光透入的神奇洞穴。活动结束后还有丰盛的烧烤午餐以及卡瓦酒仪式。如果愿意，您也可以把礼物送给牧师，让他转交给村民们。在旅途中，村里的孩子们会主动上来和您击掌；他们会跑到游猎车旁，高声喊着“布拉！” 不过请注意：如果游猎巴士的轮胎瘪了，您就得下车帮忙更换轮胎哦！劝您好好享受这次旅程吧——您一定会喜欢的！
