Great trip if not a bit crowded
Sawa-I-Lau Caves的点评
点评：They say not visiting the Sawa-I-Lau caves while visiting the yasawas is akin to going to Paris and not visiting the Eiffel Tower. With this in mind my partner and I did a day trip from our adjacent resort to see it.
On the positives the caves are quite interesting and a very unique attraction. We visited three - two of which required a very brief time submersed (perhaps 5 seconds) to access. There is a small amount of development (steps) to allow easy access.
On the negatives the space is quite small and at the time we visited a number of tour groups went through at the same time making it quite crowded and the noise in the echoing caves quite annoying.
Small souvenirs are available for purchase in front of the caves. If you don’t intend on purchasing anything there really isn’t any good reason to bring your wallet or any of your valuables such as your phone (you will need to leave them unattended in the boat).
Our tour left our resort (nanuya island resort) at 0915 and had us back by 1145 so this is possible to do on your day of departure.
Overall a worthwhile visit.
