点评：You won't be disappointed. Seeing the pyramids is a once in a lifetime experience.
but this is sadly a tourist trap like any other but cranked up a notch or two.
Not surprisingly everyone wants to make a bit of money from you so unless ( and even to an extent if) you are with an official guide you will be harassed constantly
Since this month, Egypt tourism has introduced a new system for the Giza plaza and everyone has to queue to be bussed around the site with a number of potential stops. This means if you are in a bus tour you will not be in your own bus and will have to carry any water or other essentials the whole time
It is very hot and you will be hassled constantly to take photos, ride camels etc. So if you are hoping for a moment of peace to take in the awe inspiring site, forget it
Going instead the great pyramid really is a physical challenge. It is hot, stuffy and cramped. You have a substantial climb up a ramped tunnel to get to the solitary chamber. Tourists are passing both ways and most are at the limit of their endurance which makes for a challenging experience. Don't do this if you are not physically fit and don't do this if you are in any way claustrophobic. You will be doing this just to have done it, but not because it is in any way a pleasant experience. The chamber itself is hot and stuffy and there is a smell which may well be urine or simply the combined aroma of heat, fear and exhaustion
Despite all this, these are a must visit if you have the chance.
