Don't miss Puerto Viejo / the Caribbean Coast in your Costa Rican Itinerary!

点评：We just spent a month in Costa Rica (SJO - Tortuguero - Cahuita / Puerto Viejo / Manzanillo - Uvita - Puerto Jimenez / Cabo Matapalo - Drake Bay / Corcovado - Manuel Antonio - Bijagua - La Fortuna - Poas Volcano - SJO) and absolutely recommend Peurto Viejo as a must-visit!!
* Highly recommend taking a shuttle from SJO to La Pavona, boat to Tortuguero for 2 nights, boat to Limon (NOT with Willie's Tours CR) then driving from there - I'll be uploading our full trip report onto Trip Advisor soon if you want details)
* Whilst you're in the village of Puerto Viejo : Face the sea, walk to your right and you'll find a track that runs along the beachfront. If you walk along there you'll have more - and closer - encounters with monkeys and sloths than just about anywhere else in Costa Rica - without the need for a guide or scope and for free!
Puerto Viejo itself is a cool little spot to look around and eat at, sunbathe on the beach and view wildlife. There's heaps of tuk-tuks to catch to Cahuita or Manzanillo so really easy to get around - or hire a bicycle and spend the day beach-hopping (there's better beaches between PV and Manz than there are between Manz and Cahuita). Just go, it was one of our favourite parts of Costa Rica!

波多黎各维耶霍本身就是一个很棒的小镇，可以四处逛逛、吃吃喝喝、在沙滩上晒晒太阳、观赏野生动物。有很多嘟嘟车可以搭乘前往卡维塔或曼萨尼约，所以出行非常方便——或者租辆自行车，花一天时间在各个海滩间穿梭（波多黎各维耶霍和曼萨尼约之间的海滩比曼萨尼约和卡维塔之间的海滩更美）。去吧，这里是我们最喜欢的哥斯达黎加景点之一！
