点评:Walked the paved path that loops along the upper edges of Red Rock Canyon on August 26, 2025. We arrived at 8:30 am and were the first ones there.
The trail doesn’t offer the best views, except for along the foot bridges that cross the canyon. It was more of an adventure to walk along the bottom of the canyon (the best way to get down is along the sloped edges near the parking lot where the canyon is not as deep). From there, you can hop across the rocks from side to side, finding a route through the canyon. As you got further along, the walls became taller and spectacular, making for some amazing photos. We turned around close to the foot bridge at the top of the canyon where it became very narrow with less footholds and the canyon walls were wet and slippery. It was super fun to explore the canyon bottom before the crowds arrived when we had finished. Would recommend getting there early if you want amazing photos without people in them and having the canyon to yourself. Very peaceful and gorgeous!
