点评:I think the 6-hour night tour of Hanoi is an incredible experience that everyone should try. It’s hard to describe how amazing Hanoi is at night, and as someone who loves exploring cities after dark, I couldn’t wait to join this tour. It did not disappoint in the slightest. The journey began at 7:00 PM, but I had been eagerly anticipating this day since the morning, excited to explore Hanoi by night, with its rich food culture and the beauty of the capital city. Six hours are certainly not enough to fully experience everything this city has to offer, and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to stay awake to enjoy Hanoi’s nightlife. But I was wrong. Every destination we visited left me in awe, and I couldn’t stop being amazed by the uniqueness and allure of each place.
The tour started at 7:00 PM from the University of Economics, and as soon as I stepped onto the bus, I felt comfortable and relaxed. The bus was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the atmosphere was lively and full of energy, which made me feel completely immersed in this exciting adventure. Our first stop was Bánh Cuốn Bà Xuân, a famous spot known for its Hanoi-style "banh cuon" (steamed rice rolls). The guide mentioned that while many tourists love to try "bun cha" (grilled pork with noodles), bánh cuốn chả is a new and equally fantastic option. And I can confirm that it’s absolutely true. The "banh cuon" was incredibly soft, the dipping sauce rich and flavorful, and the grilled pork skewers were seasoned to perfection. I was instantly hooked, and it felt like I could eat this dish forever. After dinner, we headed to Hoan Kiem Lake, a place I’ve always loved, but never before had I seen it as stunning as it is at night. The sparkling lights reflecting off the water created a mystical and romantic atmosphere. I had the chance to walk around the lake, try some street food sold by the locals, take photos with friends, and listen to the guide share fascinating stories about the history of this iconic site.
The next highlight of the tour was the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where we witnessed the solemn flag-lowering ceremony at Ba Dinh Square at 9:00 PM. It was a truly moving moment, and I could feel the deep respect that people of all ages, from the elderly to the young, have for President Ho Chi Minh and their country. We then continued our journey down Thanh Niên Road, which took us around West Lake. This was one of my favorite parts of the tour. I was enchanted by the breathtaking view of the lake, especially at night. The shimmering lights reflecting off the water created a peaceful and tranquil ambiance. Along the way, we passed Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple, two historical landmarks of Hanoi. Although we didn’t stop to visit them, the view from afar was stunning, with the buildings lit up beautifully in the night. If I get another chance, I would definitely love to come back and explore these places in more detail. After that, we made our way to Chao Suon Huyen Anh, a restaurant near Dong Xuan Market, to enjoy a late-night meal of hot chao suon (pork rib porridge). The crispy pork ribs paired with the steaming hot porridge, topped with shredded pork and fried dough sticks, made for an amazing combination, perfect for the chilly evening. The restaurant also served fresh juices and yogurt, making for a perfect end to the meal. Everyone in the group was so happy with the food.
Next, we headed to Ta Hien Street, famously known as the "Beer Street" of Hanoi. This area is always bustling with life, filled with street food stalls and beer joints. I had the chance to interact with the locals, enjoy some delicious snacks, and immerse myself in the lively atmosphere shared by both locals and tourists. Finally, we ended the tour at Quang An Flower Market, a vibrant and colorful market where fresh flowers are sold everywhere. The fragrance of flowers filled the air, and the friendly vendors added to the welcoming atmosphere. I was in heaven surrounded by so many beautiful flowers, and I couldn’t resist taking a ton of pictures. The experience was so relaxing and magical, and I left with a sense of fulfillment.
I’m genuinely pleased with this night tour. It not only gave me the chance to visit famous landmarks but also allowed me to experience the unique culture and cuisine of Hanoi. If you’re looking for a different perspective of Hanoi, especially at night, I highly recommend this tour. Hanoi at night is truly a magical world that everyone should experience.
