点评:I was a child when I first heard about the legend of the turtle, the king, and the magic sword. As an adult coming here with my own family, it felt a bit surreal, new yet nostalgic. We came here on the first and last days of our Hanoi visit, and the key is to come when they first open, at 7 am.
The tranquility you'll find here in the early hours offers a welcomed reprieve from the Old Quarter's nighttime crowd and cacophony. Take your time, observe the markings engraved in the rocks as you first walk in, and notice other forms of life here. You may even have a cat come sit--just sit--next to you when there's no one around. Also try to spot a (live) turtle or two, and tell yourself that it's a sign of good luck. If you still believe in magic, this is the place to keep it alive.
