点评：A visit to the Temple of Literature is highly recommended when exploring Hanoi. As the city's oldest university, founded in 1070, it offers an excellent insight into Vietnam's rich educational and Confucian history.
The complex is generally well-preserved and divided into five distinct courtyards, showcasing impressive traditional architecture, peaceful gardens, and large stone steles resting on turtles. However, certain areas are currently showing signs of wear and would benefit from some targeted maintenance to fully restore their historical luster.
Despite its central location, the grounds offer a remarkably quiet atmosphere away from the busy traffic. For the best experience, renting an audio guide at the entrance is highly recommended to compensate for the limited on-site signage. A visit takes about 1 hour. Arriving early is advisable to avoid tour groups and graduation photo shoots.
