Beautiful Lake Louise
Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola的点评
点评：Lake Louise Gondola ride offers spectacular views at the top, in particular of Lake Louise, and alot of area where one is able to walk around.
One can chose between taking the gondola or the chairlift to the top. I chose the chairlift and glad that I did. The ride was smooth and provided a great opportunity to look around/look for any wildlife roaming on the mountain. While I didn't see any wildlife, I did enjoy the views. Note, I am a bit leery of heights and found the chairlift easy to ride.
The Lake Louise Gondola area is a launching area for those exploring Moraine Lake and Lake Louise as parking is extremely limited in the Lake Louise parking lot and private vehicles are not allowed to drive out to Moraine Lake unless one is actually staying at one of Moraine Lake's lodges.
Happy to advise Lake Louise Gondola/complex is huge and should be able to handle just about any occasion. When we visited, it was a high tourist time of the year (fall foliage) and there was ample parking at this complex.
While visiting the mountain, via the chairlift/gondola, it was easy to see that major expansion is taking place on the mountain to facilitate the ski season. Hopefully, we will be able to visit again in the future and get an opportunity to see how the expansion turns out.
