点评：We stayed in Banff for four days and absolutely loved strolling along Banff Avenue. It’s exactly what you imagine from social media — probably one of the most scenic high streets on the planet. Looking down the avenue towards Mount Rundle is a view that stops you in your tracks, a perfect backdrop to explore the town.
The street itself is lively and charming, dotted with cafés, shops, bars, and restaurants, along with a few hotels if you’re planning to stay in the heart of town. We treated ourselves to a BeaverTail pastry and found that simply walking along and soaking in the atmosphere was one of the best ways to enjoy Banff Avenue.
Be prepared, as there is no admission fee for the high street and that scenic view by midday it is BUSY - an early morning stroll is definitely recommended to make the most of it.
Whether you’re popping in for coffee, grabbing a snack, or just admiring the mountain views, Banff Avenue is a must-visit for anyone exploring the town.
