The Queen's Tree looks good.
流花湖公园的点评
点评：We entered the park by the main entrance after scanning the ‘passage check’ app and the security guard casually waving his thermometer gun at us.
We strolled across the park stopping frequently to sit and enjoy the cool breeze off the lake. The air temperate was still over 30C.
Note: the park has many clean toilets and is wheel chair friendly.
The children’s amusement park was half-open as it’s summer holiday time, I suspect it’ll be fully open at the weekend.
The boardwalk along the lake had the usual throng of snappers focused on the birds of the feathered variety. I’m sure there are bragging rights to who has the longest lens and lens hood attached to their camera.
While they focused on the birds, we fed the duck and her two ducklings, and the black swan and her two cygnets. They were all partial to spring roll, sticky rice cake, and dumplings that I planned to have for my dinner.
The park cats snoozing and enjoying the afternoon sun were not even interested in a few cat biscuits, save one mum cat who being very polite very pregnant ate a tube of cat food to nourish her impending litter.
We popped in to the Bonsai House and noted that there were as any bonsai trees but there wasn’t as many fish as before.
It was then a few more minutes of strolling to The Queen’s tree which was looking healthy. I hummed ‘God Save the Queen’ while SWMBO looked on amused.
Then we slowly, no chop-chop in this heat, ambled back to the nearest exit and hailed a taxi back to our humble abode for a well-deserved cup of tea bought at the QingPing Medicine Market (TA reviewed) a week ago.
