Nice scenery with many majestic old buildings retained from a previous generation
上海外滩的点评
点评：The easiest way to get to The Bund is to take the subway to East Nanjing Road and take Exit 3, where you will come into a shopping precinct. Lots of goodies and food and shopping to do on the way to The Bund.
My experience with The Bund was to be honest, it does not live up to all the hype. Yes, the view is nice, the Huangpu River is majestic and there are a lot of historical buildings that have been retained that add to it's nostalgic value, but the feel of the place has become very commercialised.
There are a few things you can do here, there is of course, the river cruise, the boat ride costs RMB 150 (approx. USD $28) for a 30 minute ride, it takes you up and down the river along both sides.
There is a tiny little museum where you can learn more about the history of The Bund at the Gutzlaff Signal Tower located in front of Asia Building along The Bund. There are some buildings that have been around since the 1920s, these are worth a visit if you like beautiful architecture.
The one place which I felt wasn't worth spending the money on was The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel. The Tunnel costs RMB 70 (approx. USD $12) per person. There's nothing to see in the tunnel, you basically get into a tiny little monorail that seats about 5 people, and takes you across the river in a tunnel that takes about 7 minutes. Maybe it would have been more value for money if there were photos of what The Bund looked like in the pre-war era rather than having a light show of strobe lights and lasers in the tunnel.
If you want to save a few bucks, there is a ferry that takes you across The Bund for RMB 2 (approx. USD $0.40). I spent about 3 hours here in total, wondering around, taking in the sights, while trying to avoid the 'friendly locals' trying to sell me stuff.

如果你想省点钱，可以乘坐渡轮过外滩，票价为2元人民币（约合0.40美元）。我在这里总共待了大约3个小时，四处闲逛，欣赏风景，同时还要避开那些试图向我推销东西的“友好当地人”。
