Our tour guide brought us to the Lotus Temple, a place I had always wanted to visit. I am so happy I finally got to go with my little family. The structure is breathtaking. From the moment we walked toward it, I felt a sense of calm and wonder.
What I love most about the Lotus Temple is that it is open to all faiths. There are no idols or rituals inside, just a quiet space where everyone is welcome to sit in peace, reflect, or pray in their own way. That message of unity and inclusiveness stayed with me long after we left.
The walk to and from the temple was just as beautiful. The gardens are peaceful and filled with flowers. I especially loved seeing plumeria trees blooming along the way. I grow plumeria back home, so it felt special to see them here. The petals are a little smaller than the ones I’m used to, but they were just as stunning.
It was a hot hot day, but we had the best time. The combination of beautiful architecture, peaceful surroundings, and the feeling of spiritual openness made this one of the most meaningful stops on our trip so far.
