Inca Trail的点评
点评：We spent several days touring with this Local Trekkers Peru, including the unforgettable 4-day hike to Machu Picchu, and it was truly an incredible experience from beginning to end.
Our guide, Hendrik, did an outstanding job making the hike manageable for all 5 people in our group, whose ages ranged from 28 to 65. They were knowledgeable, encouraging, and always made sure everyone felt supported. Their stories and historical insights gave us a much deeper appreciation for the Inca Trail, Peru’s history, and the local culture. You could tell they genuinely cared about sharing their passion, and they kept the experience fun every step of the way.
Now let’s talk about the food because it completely exceeded every expectation! On our first day at lunch, they served us delicious soup and fresh bread. I thought that was the meal, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. They then brought out five more beautifully prepared courses, and every single dish was incredible. This level of quality continued at every meal throughout the trek.
The highlight was the second night, when we celebrated my friend’s 40th birthday. Chef Paulino somehow baked a beautiful birthday cake right on the Inca Trail! It was such a thoughtful surprise and made the celebration even more special. Every meal Chef Paulino prepared was absolutely outstanding.
I also want to give a huge shout-out to all of the porters. Their hard work, kindness, and dedication made this experience possible. They carried everything with incredible strength and always greeted us with smiles. We simply could not have completed this trek without them, and we are so grateful for everything they did.
This was truly the trip of a lifetime, and I can’t recommend this Local Trekkers Peru highly enough. If you’re considering hiking the Inca Trail, this is the company you want by your side. Thank you all for giving us memories that will last forever!
