点评：MALBA is a small museum (an auditorium on the ground floor for films and galleries on the first floor [nothing was available on the second floor during our visit]) with primarily modern and contemporary pieces in a variety of media, including paintings, sculptures, textiles, photomontage, etc. As mentioned in other reviews, artists represented include Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and many others whose works exhibit the fusion of indigenous and Western cultures that defines this place. It was particularly interesting to see Rivera's early cubist style portrait together with a later painting in the style of his more well-known murals. There is an admission fee, but it is very modest and a half-price discount is available on Wednesdays. There is a small café on the gallery floor if you want a break during your visit, and a more full service restaurant on the ground floor.
