Lovely Greek resort not to busy and plenty of places to eat and drink. Has a beach too.

点评：We popped in to Lipsi while on Zeus Too as part of our island hopping. Every where was busy with boats so we were luck to get a spot on the end of the jetty. We saw others who came in after us turned away as there was no room. I did find the experience of mooring the boat not the usual Greek friendliness. The guy who controls the harbour and helps you get moored and fixes up your electric an water to be very aggressive. Constantly shouting at people is not helpful and just plane rude. So when he wants to sell you his honey you know what our answer will be. To be honest he has been like this every time we have visited so you don't have an option but to take it. The day and night we visited was a festival little did we know the music and dancing would go on from 8pm to 8 am the next day and it was vey loud music. There must of been some sore heads the next morning. The port itself is very nice, plenty of places to eat and drink from cheap eats to fine dining. You have a beach no beds not a lot of shade but it shelves out very shallow and safe for the less able swimmers or kids. You have a lovely large church/cathedral up the hill worth a visit. While up there you have some good tavernas and some lovely little shops for clothes and gifts. In the resort itself you have plenty of bakeries, tavernas, chemist (just check the opening times) bank boat trips etc etc. Worth basing your self here to explore the island. I have reviewed some of the tavernas separately certainly worth a visit.
