Amazing island harbour town.

点评：Staying on the Island of Kos as part of a family holiday I was craving some exploration and chose to take the ferry over to Nisyros on the boat - Agios Konstantinos.
In hindsight the only thing I wish, was that I'd had another day on the island. It came across as very much traditionally greek. The port town of Mandraki was the gateway for exploring the quant narrow streets which provide the backdrop.
For me I didn't have to much of an itinerary, I opted to wander the streets and visit the various churches, the Monastery, and the ruins at Paleokastro.
The brilliant thing about my day was that most of the tourists are whisked off to the crater, meaning sadly for the businesses of Mandraki the harbour town is much quieter. Good news for me though. I mostly had to share the town with the plethora of cats.
