点评:One rainy day during the weekend we decided to head over to the Coonamesset Farm with our kids and grandchild. It’s a quaint property, with a gift shop, small eatery, crops, flowers and animals.
Most of the animals were staying dry and inside their enclosures. Lots of chickens spread around the property. We picked a few crops and wandered the property. The flower beds are nice, some of the buildings show their age and I wouldn’t recommend the kids’ play area unless it has been given a good scrub.
This is a working farm. It’s not really a petting zoo, so be prepared. The farm is supported almost entirely by memberships, although we paid a visitor fee which was good for the day.
We didn’t get anything else to eat, but things looked quite good.
If you need to kill a few hours in an immersive and learning experience, the Coonamessett Farm is worth the investment.
