点评：We visited this morning. The drive for us was 1 hour and 40 minutes. Good drive. The mine opened at 9:15 a.m. We pulled into the parking lot at 9:06 a.m. We paid $15 LEI that gives you all day parking. We went to the ticket counter and bought our tickets. We paid $45 LEI per person pensioner ticket (old people). We got in line there was probably 60 people in front of us. I think we got on the 3rd or 4th bus. The buses are in real good shape. You drive into a lighted tunnel and you go in a circular motion like a corkscrew going deep and deeper into the earth. I think the depth is 280 meters. The ride is part of the fun both down and up. Once you step into the mine it's impressive. The distance from floor to ceiling is enormous. There is plenty to take pictures of. Things to do for the kids. places to get food and drinks. We walked around taking pictures and looking at stuff for about an hour. Then we started to make our way back to the exit. The reason we went so early in the morning was that we didn't want to wait in line to leave on the bus. When we got to the bus entrance we were like tenth in line to get in the bus. So off we went. There is no dedicated line to get on the bus so I'm sure if it was crowded it might get dicey. When we got back to the parking lot many touists had arrived. My wife and I have been in Romania for 3 and 1/2 weeks. We both said we would put this sal mine in our top 5 stops.
