点评:I was part of the HERITAGE DAY, April 6, 2024. Several hundred flocked to the Museum site on 120 Sams Avenue to stroll through the Museum free of charge, partake of a tour of the interior of the building, hearing of its fascinating history and enjoying the integrally involved tented displays on Sams Avenue. I can see that there is enormous pride in being a member of this organization. After all it is the THIRD oldest city in Florida with a story of being settled in 1768 by the LARGEST group of Europeans in all of early American history. Tours were held giving an overview of the fascinating history of how Scotland and England worked to sign up 1,003 peoples to work as Indentured Servants in what would be one of the largest Indigo growing settlements in the pre-Revolutionary War era of America's beginnings.
