Decent and varied exhibition of US military engagements with focus on AR significance
MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History的点评
点评:Giving an extra .5 for small town effort - it's 'good' rather than 'very' (Trip Advisor amend your star system, lol) Particularly interesting display of Japanese-American internment camps and contribution to WWII as well as Vietnam - personal connection to the latter, they always get me. MacArthur himself given a fairly brief write up given how consequential he was, but we all might take a lesson from how he lived out his life after the dust up with Truman - grace rather lacking in some of our former leaders today. Freezing cold inside the day I was there; they were preparing for an event that evening. For an out of state visitor, the Arkansas history during and after the Civil War was interesting. Welcoming staff.
