Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir — A Peaceful Late-Night Visit
We visited Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir late at night, around 9:30 PM, and were pleasantly surprised to find the temple relatively quiet and uncrowded.
The temple is best known for its enormous Ganesha idol, which is truly impressive and beautifully maintained. However, I personally found the Panchmukhi Hanuman statue, made from seven metals (Sapta Dhatu), even more fascinating.
The temple had a very peaceful atmosphere during our visit. With very few people around, we had enough time to sit, pray, and simply appreciate the beauty and spiritual ambience of the place without feeling rushed.
One minor issue is that there does not appear to be a dedicated footwear stand. Footwear was simply left scattered around the entrance, which could be better organized.
Our overall visit took around 10–15 minutes, but it was a calm and worthwhile stop, especially if you're visiting the nearby Mahakaleshwar Temple.
