DREADFUL TREATMENT BY THE MANAGER AND STAFF - REFUSED RE-ENTRY FOR USING THE BATHROOM.

点评：Horrendous experience one I DO NOT advise. I paid for a premium seat to see the ballet. 40 minutes into the performance I urgently needed the bathroom. I exited quietly and was told under no uncertain terms I would NOT BE ALLOWED BACK IN!! It was utterly appalling. The manager Lia Rojic Fernandez's manner was absolutely shocking. Her attitude and arrogance made the situation worse and was not at all what I would expect from the Teatro di Santiago. She refused point blank to allow me back in. Disgusted by the whole ordeal. A terrible reflection of Santiago how they treat their overseas guests.
I also felt very cold since had left my jacket and cardigan in the box and was shivering. It was just terrible.
Ultimately I was told one of the team could get my jacket and bag for me – I fail to see what difference it makes if one of the team got my things or if I quietly entered the box to retake my seat.) I felt embarrassed at what the others in my box thought of me being escorted in to take my things out and leave.
I am still shocked and upset at the treatment that was shown to me by Municpal de Santiago it was horrible. I was a guest in Chile visiting Santiago and to be treated this way was absolutely awful. I come from Wales in the UK and in the theatres here in Cardiff if you wish to use the toilet you can do so and usually the staff allow you back in at a quiet moment in the performance for example. Why could something like this not be done in Santiago?
To be refused entry on the basis of needing the toilet was a disgraceful and unnecessary rule to be imposed. The whole experience and the attitude of the manager was dreadful and not what I would have expected in the slightest and I am so disappointed it ruined my night and m stay in Santiago which until then had been wonderful.
