Great show, great staff, rubbish seats

点评：Positives - great staff, good show.
Negatives - insanely high prices (almost £8 for a pint) and terrible seats.
My partner and I went to see Newton Faulkner last night. Due to the poor booking process, I purchased what I believed to be the front row, when in actual fact I was booking the second row. I thought this would still be fine after discovering this on the tickets, but our view was almost completely obscured by the couple in front of us. The second row seats are no higher than the first, and the stage isn't high enough to get a decent view. What was particularly frustrating about this is I was effectively forced to buy VIP meet and greet tickets at a substantially higher price to get these seats. The meet and greet itself was great, as was the artist, but I would have been happier forgoing this and getting a good view of the show. If you can, avoid the second and third rows. The theatre isn't that big, so booking a seat further back doesn't really make a difference.
