Climb the Twin Peaks of Agent Orange and Sub Lime

点评：My wife had read about the orange Liqueur that Long Point have created and we were on a family break so decided to be indulgent with a snort of the local grape products.
Long Point is beautifully nestled into the Port Macquarie hinterland with rolling hillsides with unique silver runaways charging down from the forest fringes. The silver pharoahic pyramid homestead has a secret entrance into the tomb like cellar door where we had surprise on surprise…
Nikki the manager is the perfect host and completely accommodating in her approach with our various tastes and needs.
We decided on using her expertise in sampling five of her best recommendations as we sat with a cheese platter to compliment the tastings.
A complimentary drink to prepare the palette and away we went climbing the Everest of elevated sensations. The foothills were what you would expect at a cellar door but we were not prepared for the vista awaiting with the first peak: their very own unique GINGER beer which is exquisitely outstanding. Unlike anything that bears the name.
On we trekked through the cured cheese and Camembert, olives and dried tomatoes on crisp crackers! And there we were on the towering twin peaks of Agent Orange and Sub Lime. Spectacularly Spectacular is not even close.
The experience made our day.
