点评:This was a small museum on the other side of the river from Asahikawa Station. It was located inside the Crystal Hall which shows up better on the map.
We only saw one other visitor during our visit so it was a little strange having the entire museum all to our selves.
The museum was contained on two floors. The top floor was all about the Ainu people, culture and artifacts. Very informative after scanning the periodic QR Codes to pull up English explanations. The bottom floor included more Ainu exhibits, Asahikawa animals and geology, and a short evolution of the city of Asahikawa from its founding. However there wasn't much English so use your translation app.
One of the visually impressive parts of the museum were the "trees" located in the center above the bottom floor.
If you have time go and visit this little museum. 350 yen admission was a good deal for all that you get to see.
