Fantastic experience with a side of EV charging!

点评：We visited Gibson Wines for their behind-the-scenes experience—something you’d normally expect to pay a fair bit for, given the chance to see the inner workings and spend time chatting with their winemaker, Adam. But no—it was completely free.
From the moment we arrived, you could feel the passion that goes into every bottle at this family-run winery. Sam welcomed us warmly before introducing us to Adam, who took us through the process. I’ll admit, I enjoy wine but I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to the technical side. After just 30 minutes with Adam, I walked away with a whole new appreciation—from how different growing regions of the Barossa influence the grapes, to the impact of various barrels used in ageing.
Thank you for taking the time to show us around during what must be one of the busiest times of year during vintage.
Kristy, who was absolutely lovely and full of energy, guided us through the tasting back in the cellar door—really bringing everything together by letting us compare wines aged in different barrels side by side.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a warmer, friendlier, or more genuine experience. Make sure you add this small, family-run winery to your Barossa list.
