Most beautiful village in Croatia

点评：There are places you visit….& then there are places that steal a piece of your soul.
The village of Rastoke in central Croatia is the latter, felt like stepping straight into a fairytale. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the world slowed down, as if time itself decided it was too enchanted to move quickly.
The whole place is wrapped in waterfalls & rivers, & in summer, you could literally dive straight out of your bedroom window into fresh, drinkable water, & the air smells of moss, stone, & something almost too pure to name.
Our host at Airbnb, a lovely Croatian lady whose English was limited but her warmth needed no translation, she greeted us with a powerful local strong alcoholic drink. It surely packed the fury of a thousand suns. One sip & my throat ignited!
We spent the rest of the day wandering through this ridiculously charming village, peeking at the locals living their best lives surrounded by nature’s magic.
There’s a kind of beauty here that you don’t just see, you feel it sinking into your bones. And I wonder, if maybe, only just maybe, I’ve found a place I once dreamed of but forgot.
Dinner was at a cosy local restaurant where we had the freshest trout I’ve ever tasted.
It was so good Ivan even chewed down all the bones including the fish head! And nearly licked the plates (but we’re trying to stay classy… for now) 😅
Rastoke is pure magic, & it’s already one of the highlights of our Croatia trip, a fairytale written in stone & water. And somehow, just for the day, we got to be part of it!
Looking fwd for our next adventure, & hopefully less throat-burning alcohol next time! 😊

我们在 Airbnb 的房东是一位可爱的克罗地亚女士，虽然英语有限，但她的热情无需翻译。她用一杯当地烈酒迎接我们。这酒的烈度堪比千阳。一口下去，我的喉咙都燃烧起来了！
我们花了一天的剩余时间漫步在这个魅力四射的村庄，窥视着当地人在大自然的魔力环绕下过着美好的生活。
这里有一种美，你不只是看到，而是感受到它深入骨髓。我不禁想，也许，只是也许，我找到了一个曾经梦想却忘记的地方。
晚餐是在一家舒适的当地餐厅，我们吃到了我吃过的最鲜美的鳟鱼。
太好吃了，Ivan甚至把鱼刺都啃了下去，包括鱼头！他差点舔了盘子（不过我们尽量保持优雅……至少现在是这样）😅
拉斯托克简直是魔幻的，它已经成为我们克罗地亚之旅的亮点之一，一个用石头和水写成的童话故事。不知何故，就在这一天，我们得以参与其中！
期待我们的下一次冒险，希望下次少喝点烧喉咙的酒！😊
