点评：Here’s the main square of Zagreb and is located at the center of the city, the famous landmark of Zagreb. It was only renamed as Ban Jelačić Square in 1848 after Croatian military strategist and politician Ban Josip Jelačić. Of course there is the Statue of Ban Josip Jelacic on his horse in full military gear and a couple of fountains to grace the beautiful Square.
There are numerous cafes, restaurants, bars and even museums to be found in the 18/19 -th century buildings lining the square and it is also a transit hub for trams right in the middle of the city. With some much happenings it is definitely THE place to do some people watching and one can said the pulsing heart of Zagreb is by feeling the vibe of this the city centre!
We understand that It is also a venue for cultural events, concerts and large social gatherings.
Ranked among Europe's 50 most beautiful Square it might well be the reasons why Zagreb is fast becoming the to-be place for Visitors visiting European Cities..
