点评:Well worth the 2.5 to 3 hours climb/trek on the way up from Sari village. It's not a walk! One would like to linger for hours at the taal and the return down takes about 45 minutes or more. The views are mesmerizing and the lake has all the enigma one expects of the yaksha taal of Mahabharata, that it is presumed to be. A guide is not required but Mr Negi, whom we found at the starting point (shop opposite the entrance to the trek), kept us entertained all through, pointing out all the precious herbs, medicinal plants, wildflowers and the peaks on the way up. The parikrama of the lake can also take 20 minutes.
Tip : If one wishes to see the reflection of the mountain peaks, including Chaukhamba, in the pristine waters, one must reach up by 11. After 12.30 the peaks are almost always covered in clouds, obstructing the reflection.

提示:如果想在纯净的水中看到包括乔坎巴在内的山峰倒影,必须在 11 点之前到达。12.30 以后,山峰几乎总是被云层覆盖,遮挡了倒影。
