点评：Dhanushkodi is a pristine and scenic destination surrounded by the Gulf of Mannar on one side and the Bay of Bengal on the other. The name “Dhanushkodi” literally means “Tip of the Bow.” Nearby lies Arichal Munai, the point where the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal are believed to meet, and this spot can be viewed from Dhanushkodi.
The drive to this place itself is a memorable experience — a long, straight stretch of road of nearly 20 km with the sea visible on both sides. The landscape is truly breathtaking and offers excellent opportunities for photography.
It is recommended to visit in the afternoon so that you can also enjoy the beautiful sunset views. Although the place tends to be slightly crowded during that time, the atmosphere remains enjoyable. Spend some time soaking in the scenery, taking photographs, and then explore the nearby beaches, which are comparatively less crowded and more peaceful.
Several small shops in the area sell snacks, refreshments, and decorative items made from sea shells, making the visit even more enjoyable for tourists.
