Breathtaking but be prepared for long, stair-filled hike

点评：We took a sea plane, with Tofino Air, to get there; and it was truly the most amazing thing I've ever done. The flight was breathtaking! The hike was significantly harder than I expected. It took us (a family of 5) a little over 45 minutes. There were SOOO many stairs, which I wish I would have been more mentally prepared for. It's definitely not an accessible location. We only had about 30 minutes at the Hot Springs before we had to trek back through the rain forest. We were sad that we didn't have more time to spend there, but I understand that they need to get people in and out quickly to keep the crowds low, since the spring is very small and can only fit about 8 people. The water under the waterfall is from the spring and very hot. We tried to venture a little further out toward the ocean, but it gets cold really fast! Best spot is about 3 feet from the waterfall, as the temperature is perfect. They say to pack a lunch, but we aren't sure how anyone would have time to picnic. We just ate our food after we got back into Tofino. Pro tip: stop at Harbour View Coffeehouse right by Tofino Air to change clothes and get a coffee and snack after the the trip. They are one of the only spots that has a restroom, and it's a gorgeous view. The "Canada Latte" was amazing.
