Well worth doing when you’re in Cape Town!

点评：Going up Table Mountain was a big tick off my bucket list and it didn’t disappoint!
My group paid for fast track tickets so we didn’t have to wait for the cable car. I’m not a fan of heights but felt fine going up and it didn’t take too long. The cable car has a rotating floor which I think is a great idea, as everyone gets to experience the stunning views.
At the top of the mountain, I was surprised at how much was there - there was a gift shop, ice-cream parlour, restaurant and somewhere to sit outside and have a drink. We ended up spending much more time at the top than I’d expected.
The path to walk around is good but I’d recommend wearing trainers as some rocks can be unstable under your feet.
The views from the top are incredible! I was lucky to visit on a clear day and could see for miles.
I was hoping to walk down from the top of the mountain but sadly there didn’t seem to be any signposts to show us the way. We used google maps but walked for quite a while without descending. In the end we took the cable car.
All in all I think this is a must do when visiting Cape Town.
