点评：Thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the Aswan Market. Indeed, it’s a very happening place, throbbing with life and . Firstly, it’s a stone’s throw from the river. The walk probably took less than 10 minutes, so it is an easy trip. Secondly, there are a huge number of shops and visitors reminding me of the markets back home in India. Unlike some other reviewers, we were not harassed at all. There were some curious onlookers, some vendors interested in selling their merchandise but nothing to interfere with our experience. There is a wide enough path to walk so no one is jostling for space or out of breath here. There are so many unique products in the market, it is a treat to the eyes. Yes, one does have to bargain a bit. We were luck that our tour guide joined us in the latter part of the visit, so we had him by our side while we made our purchases. We easily spent about three hours in the market buying spices, the tea, and crafts. I would strongly encourage everyone to visit.
