点评:Chorsu Bazaar is the traditional bazaar in the center of Tashkent located across the street from Chorsu Station of the Tashkent Metro, near Kukeldosh Madrasah. Under its blue-colored modern building that looks as great Dome (an example of Soviet Modernism style) and the adjacent areas, you can find almost everything you need. From souvenirs to spices such as cumin, cinnamon, and saffron, macadamia, Sultanien, cashew, all kind of dry fruit (on the first floor - walk around) and milk products, meat, fruit and vegetables, bread, eggs and everything else in basement floor. You will find clothes, imported electronics and counterfeit goods, children's toy and handcrafted knives. There's is also a black market for foreign currency which I do not recommend. There is also the market's food alley where you can try everything from the standard Uzbek shashlik (grilled meat skewers) to khasip (liver sausage). There’s also khanum, a doughy, tomato-flavored potato dish, to balance out the otherwise meat-heavy offerings. However, some dishes prepared on site don't look very appealing (lamb heads or boiled sausages).
