Tabley House的点评
点评：Visited the place for the first time on 12th Sept 2026 which involved an 80 mile round trip. The steps into the Tabley Collection are via a very grand sweeping stone staircase. Our first task was to help an elderly couple down the stairs who were struggling, this caused us a slight but necessary delay. We entered the very grand hallway to be spoken too rather abruptly by the lady at the desk. Her booming voice took great delight in telling us it was 4.31 and the last entry is 4.30.. So with lack of any common sense or compassion from her we thought it best to leave and not spend our money. So our wasted journey was sponsored by the jobsworth on the front desk. We won't be returning and will remember Tabley House as the place where the good old British spirit and common sense sadly ended.
翻译：2026年9月12日，我第一次造访了那个地方，往返路程长达80英里。进入Tabley收藏馆需经由一段极为宏伟的弧形石阶。我们的第一项任务就是帮助一对行动不便的年长夫妇走下楼梯，这虽只造成了些许延迟，却是必不可少的一步。随后我们走进极其气派的大厅，却立刻遭到柜台前那位女士的粗鲁斥责。她用洪亮的声音得意洋洋地告诉我们：此时已是4点31分，而最后入场时间则是4点30分……由于她毫无常识且毫无同情心，我们认为最好离开，省下钱来。于是我们这场白跑一趟的行程，实际上就是由前台那个墨守成规的家伙“赞助”的。我们不会再回来了，我们会把Tabley House记住为那个曾经体现着英国人优良传统与常识的地方——可惜如今这些都已不复存在。
