点评:I visited the zoo as the last resort because I was staying at the historical park and the weather was not great. I mainly do not support Zoos and captivity of animals but the internet description of the place was “animals living on their natural habitats”… which is not the reality! There is a small entrance fee to pay and the view starts with caged Macaws which area I avoided, although likely there are some free ones at the start that give you fake hopes. Then you face depressing tiny muddy enclosures with caged animals and quite often solo ones! It was around five o’clock in the afternoon and pretty much all animals were in deep sleep, which also caused suspicions on how they keep them quiet. There were deer(s) - separated, a small fox, a crocodile, three ocelots - separated, 2 little monkeys on a man made small island and no access to trees, 2 tapirs - split from each other, a small sloth which was awake - obviously sloths are not that active thus no much control over them needed, some raccoons and probably other sad animals that I missed as I had limited visit time but mainly I was heartbroken from the very first few minutes anyway. The only fortunate ones were some rodents that were running around free. NOT TO BE SUPPORTED this live animal cemetery!
