Well worth a visit. Wonderful views and very Informative.
Southwold Lighthouse的点评
点评：This tour Is organised by Adnams, and you meet at the rear of the Swan Hotel In Thetford market place. Pre booking Is essential, as I believe the maximum Is 10 people.
Jim our tour guide was absolutely superb.Professional, courteous and with a great sense of humour!!, together with a vast knowledge of the lighthouse Its History together with the History of Southwold Itself. You start with a briefing of what to expect (ie 113 steps ).
To be honest It Is a "bit of a bottler" !! and one Gentleman had to "bow out" after 6 steps. However If you put this out of your mind and just "go with It" the views from the top are absolutely magnificent At the top you are left to take as many photos as you like, with Jim providing lots of Information as to the History together with lighthouses across the UK.
A very very nice experience, highly recommended.
