点评：I have been to medinas, Kasbahs and souks all over the Arab world and in my opinion the Medina of Fez is probably the most "authentic." That being said, it is an absolute labyrinth of narrow crowded alleys and not for the faint of heart. People are coming and going while workers are pushing carts and shouting. You WILL get lost and with limited connection abilities, Google maps may not be able to help you out. We were on a small group tour of only six people and before we entered the Medina, we picked up an extra guide to put at the end of our group. This also helped keep unwanted people away and actually, almost every shop keeper we met were very friendly. Surprisingly, we weren't constantly being badgered by people trying g to sell us something. Many merchants were either busy attending to business or on their phones or simply snoozing in the early afternoon heat.
So, if you are looking to experience a real Medina and not one catering to tourists, get a guide and head to Fez!
