Ockenden Manor Spa的点评
点评：I’ve been a member of Ockenden spa for a year and cannot recommend it enough.
I’ve been to many, many spas and the things that make this one outstanding are a) the staff b) the views c) the vibe.
Let’s start with the staff. Oftentimes spas have a slightly pretentious feel, but the staff here make it incredibly warm, down-to-earth and friendly. They go over and above the call of duty, while also giving you quiet and space to spa like it’s a verb. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them over the entire year.
The spa itself is truly lovely, sparkling clean and the views over fields with munching cows from a sunlounger or bean bag cannot be rivalled. I’ve had some lovely evenings watching sunset while reading in the quiet room. Doing backstroke under the stars and a massive ancient tree really cured the burnout I was feeling when I joined.
The sauna and steam room are big enough to lie down on a towel comfortably, plus have never been out of service (this is something I’ve experienced regularly with other spas / gyms, so I class it as outstanding!) and you regularly have them all to yourself. Same with the indoor and outdoor pools. They’re even family friendly there, with two swim times per day where people can bring children, and again, the reception given is so warm. Logistically, there are always robes, towels and yummy tea on offer, as well as free upscale coffee. The water by the steam room is often empty, but that is literally the only constructive criticism I can find from twelve whole months.
The treatments, while expensive, are outstanding; special mention to Carla, who is the best at both massages and facials, that I’ve ever experienced in-spa.
It is a very special place and the management are clearly doing something right, given the atmosphere, staff quality and apparently very low staff turnover.

桑拿浴室和蒸汽浴室足够大，可以舒适地躺在毛巾上，而且从未停止服务（这是我在其他水疗中心/健身房经常体验到的，所以我认为它非常出色！），您可以经常独享它们。室内和室外游泳池也是如此。它们甚至适合家庭，每天有两次游泳时间，人们可以带孩子，而且接待非常热情。从后勤上讲，总是有浴袍、毛巾和美味的茶，以及免费的高档咖啡。蒸汽房旁边的水经常是空的，但这是我在整整十二个月里能找到的唯一建设性的批评。
